Program Objectives
This program prepares students to administer databases whether Ms Access, SQL or Oracle. It covers the Oracle Server architecture, expanding the size of the database, and implementing security. Participants will learn:
- How to perform certain tasks, as well as the mechanics of those tasks. The workshops included in the program allow students to gain experience through the use of hands-on projects.
- Develop management skills for the database size and learn the hardware tuning.
- Identify Oracle architectural components.
- Estimate disk capacity and identify i/o bottlenecks.
- Develop network configuration and recovery techniques through various workshop scenarios.
